Morning at Spiders' House

There hangs,
Twenty-two lines,
Of proteinaceous silk,
Bound with a single spiral,
Gathering airbourne moisture,
Until smothered with glistening finery.

entangled me totally, . . . lame only perhaps in the very last slightly bland and prosaic word 'beauty'.

yup, didn't want to use that word, but alas was all out of brain.
just couldn't get another word into my head, or even out of it :)
didn't want to resort to the thesaurus, useful tool, but lazy, when trying to improve brain function.

did think last night of changing it to splendor...
but it was already posted by then.

oh well, thanks alot for the comment, it really is appreciated.

oh, is there any word you'd rather see? feel free to offer suggestions.
:)
