er...OK, pod, you want dreams as a reality then? (The tired everything = everything idea?)...or am i misunderstanding? How are dreams not illusions? 'Amoral', inc, "without moral quality, neither moral nor immoral" (Macquarie, Aussie dictionary) If dreams are otherwise, please explain. Good name for a band perhaps, cocaine, (the urge to raise the middle finger is perennially human) but speculate on human life sans morality.
lol, silly me, when i wrote that, i was actually thinking you meant immoral...it's too many long night shifts and very little sleep, screws the head totally up :)
I apologise Ish, dreams would class as Amoral :)
Although, dreams can be something aspired to, which makes them possible, as a goal set, a point to aim for...a dream...I suspect POD was getting mixed on Im/A-moral too... Thinking on, in a tired and blurry manner, i suspect dreams as possible targets, are more like to be classed as desires, but refered to as a dream, especially if the bar is set high...
:) oh well...
How tricks are turning well in the USA Mr Ish, don't buy any wooden nickles, or whatever the saying is...
Rereading my post I think I sound a bit belligerent . Did not mean to. :-) Inc., you have a very agreeable gift of making your visitors comfortable. I got back to OZ early in the week and the usual list of too much to do. A while back I signed up for a poetry workshop coming up all day this Sunday. Looking forward to it ... and maybe I'll end up with something worth putting up. USA? Got to spend a brief time in 2 cities I like, Washington and San Francisco. Work also takes me to places I am not so fond of ... and the wooden nickels abound.
you can be belligerent if you want, so long as there is construction involved. you can be crass, angry or downright repugnant, so long as something of value is imparted. all emotions and attitudes are valid expresions. all words are acceptable, even the current no1 for foulness, CUNT, as if you bother to research its origin, usually it's not anywhere near as bad as it's meant to be. every grunt we utter has some form of symbolism attached, it's merely the trying to match sysmbols that confuses. I'm damn nigh brain dead right now, so i'm possibly waffling on like a complete wanker, feel free to ignore any drivel that smears across your eyes :)
oh, I would like a definition of moral one day :) the dictionary isn't quite right... as what is right for me might well be wrong to you.. :) in fact, on some fronts I guarentee it!
every thing is subjective...
ignore me, it's sleep deprevation. though, my next piece is kinda inspired by you Ish...only kinda mind you...it'll be up tomorrow... (it's not the one a day one either!)
right, gotta go, gotta go see morpheus about a dog... and perchance to be amoral :)
oh, I better add, i'll post it tomorrow IF i wake up :) optimism and all that!
what is right for me might well be wrong to you.. :) No doubt about it, moral relativism is our cultural climate. I suspect though, that the stench of the death of God has no greater vent than that. Morality comes down to 51% of the vote on a given issue, or else what you can get away with, or what feels good at the time, ... nothing more. I doubt that we can live with that, literally. "I will help you if I can, I will kill you if I must, I will kill you if I can, I will help you if I must." Everything is equal to everything else. Outside of ourselves, there is no court of appeal to turn to, to say, "hey, I can show this just aint right!"

A prayer to Morpheus, giver of dreams? Dreams are illusions, amoral and capricious. Oblivion could be better.
Careful, we may get what we ask.
amoral?
define moral.
:)
gasp! dreams are not illusions nor amoral (well not always). there is much to be learnt from dreams....
whenever i see the name morpheus i think of either neil gaiman or dave mckean. sleep, dreams, oblivion? all a foretaste surely?
amoral?
good name for a band.
scary ... :)

you know, despite our different views and many other differences, it's so nice to know we can agree on something, and not just to differ!
i'll agree to your moral comment :)
