Minion

And as I step forward, on towards the distant light,
The darkness gathers behind me,
Further and further I go, ever on towards the light,
Finally I reach halfway, and sit, and rest, and think.

Darkness behind, light before,
Light before, darkness behind,
Both as blind as each other,
One too little, one too much.

And so, I turn, and face the darkness,
Turn my back on the light, and step forward,
Returning to my familiar grounds,
Where blindness awaits in recognizable surrounds.

Wow--that is INCREDIBLE! I love your darkness by the way--I love that you choose darkness...

...thank you...

I thought I'd get slated for rhyming light with, well, light...

:) so I stopped the rhymes after that...

simon - a few months ago i was walking out to meet a friend from his car outside my house (it was dark), and for a few seconds i actually believed that i was witnessing a UFO. i time enough to be in awe and then think 'right, it really is'. it was all coloured lights wirling around...then i realised it was a zeppelin with advertising on it, hovering around. for a few seconds i was totally convinced i was privy to a sighting. it was real at the time. i was saying 'oh my god. oh my god' and when irealised, i just made out to my mate that i was just admiring the lights of the zeppelin.....ahem
