Radiation

Where do I start?
When do I begin?
What makes me?
How far do I extend?
Do I have edges?
And you, who read this now,
Are you now not part of me?
And I part of your sum?
What potent propagation we are!
When do we finish?
Where do we end?

I read a book once called ,Oh What a Blow that Phantom Gave Me,. It cited a culture where instead of saying 'something is on the table', they would say, 'the table lumps.' The pendulum of course can swing from 'there are no definitive edges' to all the conventional boundry definitions that people spout. Still I wouldn't want the pilot of the plane I'm on to get too fuzzy about where things begin and end. :-)

We are all connected, everything is an circle....everything must be completed...the end might never be...round and round and round...

There are no edges to clangers (or the clanger planet) they go round and round.

I don't think anything ever really ends. It goes on and on, like beautiful ammonites. Central ore.

If as a culture we were finally completely immersed in a vision of Gaia inspired sort of connectedness, would a poem like this one inspire comment about the wonder of individual identity as a novel & sublime notion?

I think I should like nothing more than to be part of you right now. Especially if I can borrow some of your creative ability. You are so prolific and inspiring...

...thanks for your comments on my blog...

I think I remember hearing a pseudo-fact that every time you breathe in, a certain amount of the particles inhaled would be from, say, Napoleon.
It makes me wonder what percentage are of the guy stood in front of you.

That's your gross thought for the day, right there.

Stu

P.S. how about that, my browser found my blogger account for me.

Nice to hear from you Potter, nah, I shall call you Stu, in this strange world of blog...

Novel - I would be part of me right now...i'm all smelly from work, and tired, a little grumpy, hardly an inspiration, unless you intend to write of grumpy tramps in gutters or somesuch.

CJ - I like silverfish, except our bathroom is too new and as yet damp free, so we don't have them anymore...that and the fact the cats would probably eat 'em..

Lettuce - :) hello, see, not all of them are horrid, and i'm only a little creepy, and you were the one that thought of the yorkshire dales...isn't that Ms Hindleys stomping ground?...might not be though...
:)
