Lovely, anybody for a piece of steak?.....it's nice and fresh:)
I'm new to this, so be kind. ( or don't, whatever)but I figured a poem deserves a poem..It was such an old fashioned dealAn act of affection, I’m told.No time for any weapons,Or blunt instruments to be foundAn attack of the most personal kindWith hands tightly around my neckFingers pressing in to my windpipeBlocking the vital air supply. Before I knew what was going onMy world began to grow darkAnd suddenly the only thing that matteredWas to fight backRetaliateMake right. So I beat and I scratchedBut all to no availMy lungs screamed for another breathAnd a voice from the back saidI told you I’d get you in the endBut at least when they found meslumped over the steering wheelAll they had to doWas scrape under my nailsAnd match the DNA.
Shall knock up a quick reply this evening... :)already got the dna countered...
Who would of thought that "repition" would have created such wonderful poetry!
Ooh, I wouldn't have said repetition, after all a hack is definately not a slash :)but it was kinda fun to do...the words not the actions...

It was such an old fashioned deal
An act of affection, I’m told.
No time for any weapons,
Or blunt instruments to be found
An attack of the most personal kind
With hands tightly around my neck
Fingers pressing in to my windpipe
Blocking the vital air supply.
Before I knew what was going on
My world began to grow dark
And suddenly the only thing that mattered
Was to fight back
Retaliate
Make right.
So I beat and I scratched
But all to no avail
My lungs screamed for another breath
And a voice from the back said
I told you I’d get you in the end
But at least when they found me
slumped over the steering wheel
All they had to do
Was scrape under my nails
And match the DNA.
